This gem of a gastropub recently upgraded both its space—by expanding next door — and its menu — with wonderful (fried artichoke gyro) to wacky (Rocky Mountain oysters) additions. While SPTR hasn’t quite reached Standard Tap, er, standards, it’s making an impressive go of it, what with the deliciously meatloaf-y burger, generous cheese plate from nearby seller Mr. Mancuso, Gouda-flecked strawberry and almond salad, and those ever-changing brews.
