Rittenhouse residents will appreciate the easy but still cool feeling that this small New American restaurant has, giving them another local option that won’t break the bank. Ex-Lolita chef Eric Parskevas has created a menu of salads, appetizers, entrees and sandwiches that all have a slight south-of-the-border twist (a panzanella salad has queso fresco), and owner Laurentiu Muras has a small but well-picked selection of locally focused brews and nice wines by the glass.

Stopped in two weeks ago on a Wednesday evening. The atmosphere was cool and the lighting sexy. I was on a date with my two girlfriends, and we all thought this gastropub was classy enough for a first date. Romantic in a low key, "this guy has good taste" kind of way... Our apps and entrees were yummy, cooked perfectly and well executed. Nice veggie options, awesome carnivorous choices, good booze an beers on tap. Friendly bartender. This is a phenomenal restaurant! Great for lunch, dinner and I've even hosted 2 private events there...a huge hit, reasonably priced. A true gem. Posted by Dana: Dec. December 17th, 2009 at 9:41 PM
