The Rosato family restaurant is known for its high-ceilinged sun porch and generous dishes of pasta, pizza, chicken, veal and seafood -- and its fire-roasted sweet peppers. This neighborhood spot has something for everyone, from early bird specials and prompt take out service, to a separate bar area that serves folks who like to keep late hours.

I am not sure where this review came from or if they have ever actually ate at Scoogis -but I live locally and the service was terrible on multiple times. I will never go there again. The last and final time there they ruined valentines day - over 1 hour to get the food after ordering. On the way home I decided if I were going to pay those prices for cold average food I would rather spend an extra 10 per person and go to Capital Grill. Posted by Jeff: May. May 18th, 2010 at 8:37 PM

I have been going to scoogies for lunch, dinner, and drinks for 15 years. This restaurant has a very good selection of food that is all fantastic. The white chicken alfredo with roasted peppers will melt in your mouth. Salads are made fresh, and the service is inpeckable. This is a great resturant for all occations Posted by Mark: May.
