Until mid-August, the 15,000 residents of this Delco township had exactly one Chinese restaurant: your typical greasy-chopstick version that was fine for emergency takeout but not much else. Then came this stylish offshoot of the respected SangKee brand—more similar in feel and menu to the Wynnewood location than to the Chinatown flagship. This new SangKee replaces the overpriced meat at Parker’s Prime steakhouse with affordable plates of non-gloopy-or-greasy Chinese-American staples, Hong Kong (and Chinatown) classics like roasted duck, and the most reliable hot-and-sour soup in the region.
