The original owner of the bakery is Sam Roling, a great Israeli, with a wonderful sense of humor and an even better recipe for bagels. If you want a cinnamon raisin with apple walnut goat cheese spread--STAY HOME. These are real bagels for real bagel lovers. They are hand formed---the dough is just too wet for a mass production machine. Boiled, baked. EXCELLENT. Also a great Bialy bagel.
