Co-owner Christine Goyaw is quick with a smile and advice on the menu, because who, after all, knows anything about Burmese food? Rangoon is in Chinatown, but the distinctive cuisine of Burma shares as much with neighboring India as with China, and its most characteristic element is curry. Noodle dishes, especially creamy coconut noodle soup, are also hallmarks.
