The largest and oldest four-masted sailing ship still afloat, the Moshulu, which turned 100 in 2004, is again docked in Philadelphia. The redesigned restaurant aboard it evokes the South Seas destinations once familiar to the ship’s crew, with wicker, bamboo and indulgent colors, but executive chef Ralph Fernandez offers a closer-to-home New American menu with worldly touches: honey-glazed Pekin duck with potato gnocchi; smoked salmon with asparagus strudel; and sesame-crusted ahi tuna.

I agree with the other reviewer. I use to come on Thanksgiving and for brunch but the quality of food went down big time and so did the waitstaff. This is a shame. Now I worry about the White Dog as they own that now. As a Chef I expect good food AND service for my hard earned money! Give this place a miss! Posted by T: Oct. October 20th, 2009 at 10:47 PM
