Profile

This sophisticated Southern grill hides inside a handsomely converted 18th-century stone church, but a lively bar and open kitchen just inside the entrance immediately signal that this is a place for unstuffy, if pricey, fun. Upstairs the dining area retains the sanctuary’s graceful peaked windows and glorious stained-glass windows. On the table: a Cajun menu that includes sautéed catfish and creole trout.

I've only dined here once but I would recommend this restaurant to anyone. The wait staff was very attentive and pleasant. The food was outstanding. This was the best steak I have ever had, and I have been eating out 3-4 days a week for the last 10 years! I prefer a little more privacy than the open dining room, however this is such a small issue in comparison to this great dining experience.

This is our second experience eating at Marsha Brown's and it wil;l be our last. The food was okay at best, the wait staff was neglegent and oddly behaved, almost creepy. The atomosphere was excellent. I was very uncomfortable dining there.
