Profile

Behind Margaret Kuo’s grandly pillared facade are two distinct restaurants—one Chinese, one Japanese. In the Dragon’s Lair dining room, named for the hand-carved stone dragons positioned at its entrance, antiques from mainland China, set the scene for Chinese dishes as simple as chicken lo mein or as showy as crispy whole fish Hunan-style.

Review
We have been regulars downstairs in the Dragon's Lair. This is by far the best and most authentic Chinese food anywhere. Recently we tried the Akari room upstairs. we were blown away not only by the design but by the superb sushi. We have not had a bad meal yet and are always impressed by the impeccable service.
