This moody off-Rittenhouse haven, with an Asian-meets-comfort-food-meets-small-plates menu, is a reincarnation of Chef Albert Paris' short-lived Guru. Among the best options: zingy lobster cocktail, duck confit atop ubiquitous sweet potatoes, and darling Bombay burgers with cucumber relish, served in a soft roti with more sweet potatoes.

Don't be fool by the well written menu & mysterious decor. Aug. Maine lobster specials were deep fried with store bought sauce & no mention of fried lobster, only stir fry. Same lobster & sauce for both entrees. Manager refused to see us, too busy, y
