Casually chic, modern Lolita features a 12-foot photo of a calla lily, long walls of exposed brick, an open kitchen, glass pendant lamps from local artisan Hot Soup and great margaritas. But it’s not just about the excellent BYOT cocktails. It’s also about Marcie Turney’s food. Even when plates are loaded up with everything in the kitchen—like the enchiladas with mushrooms and cheese and shrimp and beans and rice and salsa and … —her nouvelle Mexican dishes are ultimately enjoyable.

This restaurant was a nice change about 3 years ago...but since then it has detiorated, the food is sloppy and soggy, flys everywhere, and i don't care if it was summer, other restaurants don't have the fly problem. The service leaves a lot to be desired and so does the food, just because you add some non-traditional latin flavors to a dish, does not make it nouvelle or cuisine nor tasty! This place needs to erase itself and start from scratch. Way too many "really good" byob to choice from and believe me this absolutely isn't one of them!!!

If you enjoy being rushed through your meal and have your dishes taken away from you while you are using them then this is the place for you! Our waiter Ant was so incredibly rude-he actually snapped his fingers at us insinuating that we need to hurry up and get out. His excuse-they were running out of glassware! Unbelievable-do not try this restaurant, plenty of other BYOs in the city with nice accommodating staff
