All the entrées are sized for two at this warm, casual Newtown Italian spot. La Stalla is housed in a former dairy barn, and rustic artifacts decorate the dining room. Or settle in at the intimate chef’s table in the grape-draped “Wine Room.” On the table: abundant antipasto and Tuscan classics.

Maybe the two worst dinning experiences of my life. In both trips the food was horrible. A disgusting chicken saltembuca that was drowning in water and fatty steak that I wouldn't feed to a dog. I will never return. There are far too many decent to good restaurants in the Newtown area to ever consider eating in this place again.
