Krazy Kat’s, just north of Wilmington in the precisely restored Inn at Montchanin, has a simultaneously elegant and hilariously tongue-in-cheek decor. The formal oil portraits that line the walls are of dogs and cats. The napkins are embossed with a crow and a Holstein. A cutout of a Victorian-clad she-cat covers one restroom door; a correspondingly dapper tom adorns the other. Wilmington’s elite comes here to business-lunch and fine-dine, on creative French and Asian-accented cuisine.
