This In-N-Out for the East Coast sells only a few things: burgers, dogs and fries, plus chicken and veggie burgers for the healthy-eating set. But with the menu’s lengthy list of toppings, it takes longer for you to make up your mind than it does for the Southampton kitchen to grill up that cheeseburger — well done, but done well — and cook that foot-long dog “Jersey style.” (That’s deep-fried. Yum.)

Great hamburgers at Great Burger, but the chicken cheese steak is by far the best around town. The chicken is grilled just right, not overcooked and dry like you get at other restaurants that compensate by loading the sandwich with too much cheese. The fried onions are crisp and sweet adding an interesting blend of taste and texture to the sandwich.
