This sunny, sunflower-themed Italian restaurant has deep roots in Philly: It was loved when it first opened in Center City on Locust Street, and the A.C. location is a go-to non-casino dining destination. We are psyched it’s back in town, with spiffy new digs at the Symphony House, where crudos and carpacchio steal the show.

Girasole is always one of my first thoughts when dining in Philadelphia. I've never had a bad meal there and the Bronzino, when they have it, is outstanding. The fish is expertly filleted at the table and it is moist and always fresh. I recommend this restaurant as one of the best in Philly (and certainly one of the best in atlantic City). Despite the reviewer above I thought it was wonderful. The food was outstanding, service was perfection, ambiance warm and beautiful. I must say this restaurant is for very few who understand the difference in italian and old world italian. I personally think Girasole is a little actually much advanced for this city......I loved it and will return again Posted by nicole: May. May 26th, 2009 at 3:13 PM
