Profile

A good cheesesteak in the far suburbs is worth celebrating, and this version and its variations — including a savory “sausage steak” with thin-sliced Italian sausage, fried onions and peppers, provolone and sauce — rocks, right to the last bite of Amoroso roll. Don’t miss the real onion rings, and milkshakes you can even get malted.

Friends just left after visiting from KC and they insisted I take them back to Franklin's. They said the cheesesteak was the best they've had. I can't believe these negative comments?? This place is jammed every lunch hour with a line out the door sometimes. I call in my order so I don't have to wait. The food is FRESH and the servings are ample...great value for great food.

I'm the new grill chef at franklins. since i have been there i slice all meats almost daily, clean and cook the roast beef and pork myself. our sauce is homemade and fresh. our wings are to die for. Everything is made fresh to order. kitchen and walk-ins are spotless. i highly recomend anyone who has had a bad expierence to give us 1 last shot. Sometimes we get backed up in the kitchen but the wait is well worth it.I guarentee our food and service is genuine.

This is the best Cheesesteak in Montgomery County and the best Hoagies for 10 miles. I have eaten there at least 25 times and the consistenxy is always the same, freindly and more important they don't cut corners. The food is always fresh and tastes like homemade. I highly reccomend this place to anyone who wants authentic Phila food!

The place was empty and that should have told me something although the parking lot was packed from a neighboring business. It took 30 minutes to make a hoagie. The roast beef was slimmy & had a funny smell. The provolone cheese had a large green spot on it. Mold? I told a gentleman who said he was the owner. This guy got angry and told me never to come back! He said the meat & cheese were fresh... Don't worry I will never go back!

Franklin's has excellent food and even a better reputation in the area for great service and excellent food. Sounds like Mike from Sonny's has sour grapes! Must be losing business to Franklin's!

I ate at Franklins twice since I moved to the area, there will not be a third time. The service took forever, the help seemed to care more about there high school relationships more then the customers, totally got on my nerves. When my hoagie arrived it looked like a wawa shorti I was very upset, they clame to be the best not even close to a real Italian Hoagie, very bland and tasteless. I suggest franklins buys a hoagie from sonnys deli in limerick and studys it,learn how its, made and go from there.
