The dining room of this 11-year-old institution doesn’t show its age: The moody colors and lighting still provide a sophisticated but approachable feeling. It’s the changes in the kitchen that have breathed new life into this spot. Chef Terence Feury, who came from Maia in Villanova, took over in February, and updated the bistro fare with his delicate touch. In a city obsessed with small-plates, the starter-then-entrée menu is welcome. As is the food: Juicy roast chicken has a prized crispy skin, and baby lettuce is served with lemon ricotta fritters.

The food was delicious. I loved my mako shark and tangerine blackberry bread pudding. We were disappointed by the sea scallops appetizer for $16. We only received 2 scallops! A bit pricey. Overall, a very nice meal.
