This trendy eatery by Bar Ferdinand owner Owen Kamihira doesn’t have the polished ambience of its sibling across the corridor, but it does give bar-lovers a place to start the night. The food—a mishmash of barbecue and Mexican—runs the gamut from crave-able (fiery house-made jalapeño poppers and sweet, substantial onion rings) to forgettable (dry barbecued pork), and there are plenty of vegetarian options to help lay down a foundation before you get your drink on. And with almost 40 tequila options, even more whisky offerings, solid craft beers, and speciality cocktails that can be purchased by the pitcher, drink you will. Insider tip: Resist the urge to over-order from the vast, well-priced menu. The two burritos for $9 to $11, for example, aren’t as “little” as they sound.

My DDR pad is busted :/ It was a nice Red Octane one too, and this has bumemd me out. My floors are also carpeted which makes for a terrible DDR workout. I tried buying some stuff panels to put the pad on, but they're still not stiff enough. But otherwise YEAH, it's a good workout. For a while I was going to the local arcade and playing MoCap Boxing and the other shooting game where you have to move your whole body. That's a good workout too! Posted by Dolores: Jan.
