This cozy South Philly bar boasts one of the most extensive beer lists in a beer crazy city, and talented new chef Alex Urena (originally of NY’s Pamplona) hopes to make Devil’s Den a standout in the gastropub arena. The kitchen turns out traditional bar favorites, but Urena adds a memorable twists from his years cooking all over the globe—think poached shrimp and a lick-your-fingers-good pulled pork sandwich. Regulars come for the 16 beers on draft and the (literally) hundreds by the bottle.
