Profile

Though it advertises itself as a Northern Italian steakhouse, Davio’s is Italian at heart, with specialties like spaghetti Bolognese, and crispy chicken livers. The dramatic dining room on the second floor of the Provident National Bank building caters to the power crowd breakfast through dinner, but the weekday happy hour is a well-kept secret. From 5 to 7 p.m., martinis are $5, and the thin-crust pizza is free.

We were at a loss of where to take the kids for a good and relaxing meal on a Friday night. They treated us and the kids as if we were all special. The food was innovative and high quality. I would highly recommend Davios to anybody, with or without kids.

So there I was, walking the streets of Philadelphia like i'm in some old Bruce Springsteen tune, and I spy this nice looking spot called Davio's. Far be it from yours truly to turn down a classy italian meal, so I say to Anibella, my lady friend for the evening, what the hell, lets give it a shot. Next thing I know, BAM, chicken parm spring rolls, BOOM, Lobster Ravioli, all on the table and Sammy Vega is lovin every bite. Cap it all off with some vino and the waitress broad taking good care of us all night, and it goes without saying Sammy Vega was impressed.

My girlfriends and I had a wonderful experience at Davio's for Center City Sips last week! The bar scene was packed but the wait staff was able to service everyone just fine! Can't wait to go back this summer! Our favorite of the night was the Key Lime Martini cocktail - delicious!!!!!!

I recently went to Davio's for Yelp Cocktails Week and had a fantastic experience. The drinks were amazing and the food was delicious. I highly recommend the spring rolls - specifically the buffalo chicken and cheesesteak. I'm looking forward to trying it for dinner in the near future!

No words to describe this place. With so many great restaurants in Philly, it's hard to find a place that stands out as "even better". Great atmosphere, and the food is excellent.
