Profile

With their mirror Havana themes, Cuba Libre and the Tropicana go together like mojitos and, well, more mojitos—a combo that seems not only reasonable, but simply inevitable here, since Cuba Libre’s got more than 10 tempting varieties of the minty drink. Post cocktail-hour, the overload continues with an overwhelmingly long and delicioso menu; save yourself from indecision (or from missing out) by ordering the Cha Cha Cha—a sampling of aperitivos, which includes the restaurant’s finger-licking-good signature guava barbecue ribs, plus black bean hummus, chicken chicharrones and beef-filled potato croquettes. (That is, if you have room after making a meal out of the crispy bread with addictive mango-infused butter.) Make it an all-night event by eating late and staying for dancing without having to pay the cover.
