It seems a perfect place for a margherita pie fresh from the brick oven, this slender little dark-wood hideaway just off -Rittenhouse Square. Alas, the pizza oven was broken on our visit, so we opted instead for the menu’s other shareable dishes. That’s essentially the point of the place — small, Venetian-style offerings, along with bottles of wine. The broccoli rabe with roasted cannellini beans, shrimp and softened garlic almost erased our disappointment over the pizza (as did a warm waitstaff and an effervescent owner), but forgettable entrées (including rubbery scallops) still have a ways to go before the place makes our regular rotation.
