Two Garces alums—Brian Sirhal and Tim Spinner—break out on their own in their attempt at bringing tacos to the suburbs. And you know what? They succeed, offering both the simple stuff (carnitas and carne asada tacos, as comfortable and familiar as anything) and some more interesting diversions (spinach dressed in a chipotle sauce made with bone marrow poached in a stock of bacon and pig’s feet). What’s more, Feliz is promising to push the boundaries even more in the future as its suburban customers become more comfortable moving beyond tacos.
Review
I've been there several times, each time getting something different. I have not been disappointed. The prices are fair and the food is great. They deserve first place for the ceviche. The quesadilla gets an honorable mention. The chicken enchiladas are great as well as the tacos. Posted by Zaq: Aug. August 26th, 2011 at 4:16 PM
