Profile

Downstairs, the 18th-century granary offers regional Italian dishes and tableside Caesar service by candlelight. For more privacy, sneak away to the table for two in the wine cellar. Friday and Saturday nights, there’s even a piano player. Meanwhile, upstairs, Bistro Romano houses Philadelphia’s Original Mystery Dinner Theater.

The Ceaser salad made at your table has rightfully earned its claim to fame as Philly's finest. We've had family and friends dine here regularly with us and the food is consistently excellent. I love the ambiane and the service is always excellent. Try the duck; it's fantastic! Its always a pleasant dining experience at Bistro Romano.

Dining with my wife for a romantic dinner, Bistro Romano was perfect. The caesar salad is outstanding and prepare the freshly at the table. The pastas were fresh, tasting and well seasoned. The tira misu to die for. Request the underground wine cellar its very romantic.

The Bistro is a great place, the atmoshere is very romantic, the food is outstanding and very attentive service staff. I have been to this restaurant many times and I am always impressed by the selections on the menu. Every time I go, there is always something new to try. Their wine list is impressive with great values to be had. I've dined with business associates, dates and friends and always had an outstanding experience. Particularly noteworthy is the Caesar salad, which is prepared at your table; the taste is excellent and the show of the presentation is nice also.
