Montco residents don’t have to schlep to the city thanks to this new suburban addition, where custom cobalt sconces, refurbished mirrors and rich-looking fabric create a cool place with that special something many suburban eateries lack. The large menu changes frequently, and is a mix of owner Alison Barshak’s international style (shrimp papri chat salad, seared tuna with pho-style noodles) with heartier dishes, like rib eye with crisp blue cheese fritters.

After a so-so visit earlier this year, Alison Two has hit its stride in a big way. The food is outstanding. I was informed that bottled wine is only $10 over cost. Wow. Atmosphere is like a hip city spot.

Had a business lunch a few weeks ago and was really impressed with the service (very attentive) and the food - unique and very good.

We've enjoyed many dinners at Alisons in Blue Bell, but the atmosphere in Ft. Washington makes Alison's trademark great food more enjoyable/special. Tables are more spread out, the decor is plush, there's more room and more privacy. Service has been great for us. Ask for a tour when you get there-there are quiet places to hang out and drink that we didn't know about our first time there. We find the prices very reasonable for the value we receive.

I like the bar menu, the atmosphere and the livliness that the decor and staff exude. Lots of experimenting with flavors not only with food but drink, "canned beer" and dessert. The staff emphasizes the combination of those food and drink flavors. Its a comfortable place to go

My husband and I have bemoaned the fact that a good dinner out usually means a trip into Center City. No more! Alison Too has become our usual date night destination. The food is consistently great, the decor more like a Center City venue than anything else in the area and the staff is charming. We are fortunate to have this great restaurant just minutes from home!

After dining at Alison at Blue Bell many times over the years, we are so happy that we now have an additional place just a few miles further where we can also enjoy Alison's great food. My husband and I have dined at Alison 2 many times. The food is top notch and the space is a great! It is like dining in a downtown restaurant right here in the suburbs! We have always had great service so some of the comments I have read surprise me. I wish Alison the best of luck - and if she ever opens another place, we will be sure to frequent that as well. Make the trek here...you won't regret it!

Alison Two is a wonderful addition to our neighborhood. It has a lively and delicious happy hour daily, offering great cocktails and half price food. Friday night I went for dollar oysters and pitchers of drinks.. SO much fun and then stayed for a great dinner. Dessert was just yummy...the best banana bread pudding and coconut custard pie around. I love the atmosphere and enjoy going with my family and friends. Have only been to lunch once, but truly enjoyed it. Plenty of interesting choices. Prices are surely comparable to neighboring restaurants. You can't go anywhere these days and not pay $8-$12 for cocktails. So when I don't want to pay that much, I go during happy hour and enjoy the great atmosphere and good friends!!

We've been to Alison two many times - for dinner with friends, family celebrations and casual lunches. The food is reliably good - always fresh and tasty with unusual combinations. The atmosphere is fun - a nice addition to the suburbs. We'll definitely be back!

Just like the other reviewers we were astonished at the bill for four of us at over $100 a piece (and not expensive wine!), and so-so service. My husband and I went on opening night and were very impressed and proceeded to tell everyone about it. Two subsequent visits have us crossing Alison off our list.

Went here for lunch a few months back. Tab came to $78.00 for two of us for medicore food and poor service. The drink and food prices are offensive for the quality. Will never go back even though we used to be fans of the Blue Bell location.

This resturant had horrible service. We dined with a party of 10. We had to put a $25 per person deposit down, which was not a big deal at first but it took us 3 days to get the deposit credited to our account. There were multiple times during our meal that we had to ask a manager for drinks. 4 of the filets that were served had to be sent back to the kitchen.
A MUCH BETTER meal and amazing service in this area is Bridgets in Ambler
