Two new food markets are blurring the line between precious specialty purveyor and one-stop shop. At Good Food in Chestnut Hill, you can get cheese from Di Bruno’s, bread from Baker Street, organic eggs and local milk, as well as Duncan Hines cake mix. At South Philly’s Green Aisle Grocery, amidst the selection of everyday and exotic goods are products from your favorite restaurants — including hummus from Zahav and BBQ sauce from Pub & -Kitchen. Insider tip: Both stores have delivery. (Score!)
Good Food Market, 12 West Willow Grove Avenue, Chestnut Hill, 215-242-0716, goodfoodmarket.net.
Green Aisle Grocery, 1618 East Passyunk Avenue, South Philadelphia, 215-465-1411, greenaislegrocery.com.
