Second Bite: Devil’s Den

Earlier this year, after some unfavorable reviews, Devil’s Den brought in a new chef and promptly vanished from the radar. I recently stopped in for a return visit and was pleasantly surprised that not only is the beer list still terrific, there are some tasty menu items, too. My grilled vegetable sandwich with smoked mozzarella on foccacia was almost as good as a glass of the slightly sweet Affligem Noel. It’s a great place to grab a drink and laid-back winter meal, especially in front of the dining room’s double-sided fireplace.
