Critic's Notebook: Party On

By Joy Manning

Nothing kills holiday cheer like a canceled office party. If your workplace has put the kibosh on this year’s festivities, there’s another option for getting in the spirit with colleagues. Rally your cubemates and get tickets for next Friday’s Ultimate Office Party at the Loews Hotel. True, it will set you back $40, but you’ll get cocktails, snacks and dancing, plus part of the price goes to the Salvation Army’s Joy of Sharing Campaign. Just use the money you would have spent on your Secret Santa.
