There’s a lot to look forward to this weekend. Crawfish boils are fun for everyone (except the crawfish, I guess). Head over to Rex 1516 anytime between Thursday April 23 and Saturday April 25 for a crawfish boil and live jazz music from the Eric Worthman Trio.
For $25 you’ll get two pounds of crawfish, andouille sausage, corn and red bliss potatoes. You can also get a bucket of Naragansett pounders (4 of them) for $10.
If crawfish doesn't suit your fancy, or if you just identify with them too strongly, you can order off the regular menu as well.

Rex 1516 is rolling out its Citywide Special of the week, and this time it’s got some history.
Opening chef Regis Jansen (who’s back in town to celebrate a friend’s birthday party) has come up with a burger of his own. He’s calling it the “How Bout Dem Apples” and it is a big, fat burger patty, topped with poblano-sauteed apples, Maytag blue cheese and fried red onions. Sounds kinda awesome, right? Well it can be yours, along with a beer and a shot of Buffalo Trace, for just $15, tonight at Rex.
