Because Who Doesn’t Love A Good Sandwich?

RexBeef

If you happen to be in the neighborhood tonight, Justin Swain of Rex 1516 is testing out his new pit beef sandwiches. That’s tri-tip steak with horseradish and raw white onion on a Martin’s potato roll with fries on the side, and it looks awesome.

Only available while supplies last, so get there quick.

Rex 1516 Goes Cult-y With Their Burger Of The Week

rexburgertruffle

Chef Justin Swain took over burger-designing duties again this week. He slapped down some Swiss cheese, lettuce, truffle aioli and truffle fries on a burger, and what’s he calling it? “Big Truffle In Little China,” of course, after one of the most awesome movies of the 1980’s (or any other decade).

This dandy little number will be on special tonight at Rex 1516 as part of their weekly Citywide Special promotion. So get on down there and show a little love. Just tell ‘em Jack Burton sent you.

Rex 1516 Debuts Citywide Burger Special Of The Week

RexBurgerBrisket

Behold, the “Have Yourself A Merry Little Brisket” burger, created by Pat Szoke (ex of Alla Spina and The Industry)–a reuben burger with brisket, 1000 Island, swiss and sauerkraut. It’s on the board starting tonight at Rex 1516 and $15 gets you the burger, a beer and a shot of Buffalo Trace–which is a helluva way to do a Citywide.
