Calling all beer-drinking carnivores: Local 44 is hosting a beer and fried chicken night this Thursday, July 30th. Unless you are genuinely busy, you have no excuse not to indulge.
Oh, would it make a difference if we told you it was a Resurrection Ale House fried chicken night?
Yeah, we thought it might.
Resurrection Ale House may be gone but Leigh Maida and company have been promising that the restaurant’s famous fried chicken would return. And it will be tomorrow, January 13th and Wednesday the 14th at Local 44. The fried chicken will begin being served at 11:30 a.m. and go to the fryer runs dry.
Resurrection’s twice-fried chicken with honey drizzle has been a standout since it received acknowledgement from Bon Appetit as one of America’s ten best fried chickens, back in 2010.
