Okay everyone, deep breath.
We’ve all made it through the first weekend of Philly Beer Week, but things are far from over. For you happy few who live life with no governor (or fear of hangovers or liver damage), just keep right on doing what you’re doing–bouncing around from event to event like sharks who have to keep drinking to survive. But for those of you out there looking to pace yourselves just a little, we’ve put together a list of the three coolest events happening tonight–one for the food nerds who love beer, too, one for the beer nerds who care about nothing else, and one for folks who just love seeing robots fight.
Check out the events after the jump.

Inside Founding Fathers during last night’s pre-opening party.
Founding Fathers Sports Bar and Grill opens today. The bar is located at 1612 South Street and features a clean design and a lot of very big TVs.
Owners Owners Jon Adler and Sam Brouwer swing open the doors at 5 p.m. with a full bar and flowing beer taps. The kitchen will be bringing out complimentary food this evening and start full food service tomorrow at noon.
Founding Fathers will add brunch down the line and looks to cater to the neighborhood. Al Anderson, who has previously worked at Johnny Brenda’s and South Philly Taproom is the man in the kitchen.

Founding Fathers Sports Bar & Grill is the name of the upcoming project coming to 1612-18 South Street. The bar will aim to please the neighborhood, especially its sports fans with thirteen or so TVs and a menu by chef Al Anderson, who has previously worked at Johnny Brenda’s and South Philly Taproom.
Owners Jon Adler and Sam Brouwer are aiming to open the spacious mid-block bar by mid-November.
