Capogiro Gelato has introduced Halloween-themed gelato and sorbetto flavors at all locations including Capofitto Gelateria and Pizzeria in Old City. “We like to change our flavor selection seasonally,” said owner Stephanie Reitano. “We pride ourselves in handcrafting flavors not seen anywhere else, and the new seasonal Halloween flavors are no different.”
Halloween gelato flavors include Jack-O-Lantern Pumpkin, made with Lancaster County Long Neck Pumpkin, SIN-ammon, Mummy Mascarpone with Shrunken Head Apple, a rich imported mascarpone cheese taste with seasonal Lancaster County apples. Halloween sorbetto flavors include Pagan Pear with Bourbon, Black as Your Heart, which has a lemon charcoal flavor, Alien Eyeball, which is like Capo’s regular Kiwi Sorbetto with a more Halloween-y name.

Philadelphia Distilling, makers of Bluecoat American Dry Gin, and Capogiro Gelato are teaming up for several collaboration gelato flavors. Now through Labor Day, all five Capogiro locations, along with Old City’s Capofitto will be serving Bluecoat + Blueberries. The gelato features Lancaster blueberries, and of course Philadelphia Distilling’s signature gin.
Stay tuned for more flavors like Penn 1681 + Cucumber and others. But here’s the big question: Just what gelato would you pair with Bay Vodka?
