After a classic boy-meets-girl at Spamp’s in Conshohocken and a proposal the day after the 2011 Broad Street Run, Stephanie Reese and Jon Hughes put together an elegant but relaxed celebration that was all about having an awesome band, and dancing the night away. Following a ceremony at St. David’s Episcopal Church, that’s exactly what they did.

Stephanie and her mother canvassed the Philly area looking for the perfect dress. “I had a vision of what I wanted, and just couldn’t quite find it,” she says. Eventually at Philly’s Bridals by Danielle, she landed on a Jim Hjelm dress that was almost right. To fine-tune it, she enlisted Danielle’s seamstress/magician Brenda O’Livis, who cut down the neckline and “transformed it into my vision.”
