When Rachel Spigler and Will Trask set out to plan their wedding after having been together for six years, they knew that nature would be the cornerstone of their Big Day. And when they found the College of Physicians, it fit the bill, speaking to Rachel's love of science and Will's interest in history and architecture. Dim lighting and old-fashioned touches set the tone, and after a ceremony in the college's second-floor Ashhurst Room, everyone moved down to the marble rotunda and medicinal garden for the cocktail hour. The sky was a little overcast, but for a wedding with just enough dark elements for a totally distinct, edgy mood, it was perfect weather.
Rachel wore a Lazaro gown with chiffon ruffles and an organza flower petal strap—exactly the vintage-inspired floral look she wanted, found in the very first dress she tried on, the weekend after she became engaged, at the Bridal Garden in Marlton.
