Katie and Oscar were married on the beach of The Ocean Club Hotel in Cape May. It was a picturesque September afternoon filled with family and friends from England, Scotland, El Salvador, Canada, Spain, and within the US. Katie walked down the aisle in a form-fitting Nicole Miller gown accented with a Pronovias belt to Paul McCartney’s "Maybe I’m Amazed." The happy couple incorporated their beloved beach bikes into the ceremony, as each bike represented the ’his’ and ’her’ sides of the ceremony. The bike theme was carried throughout the event on a custom monogram, created by stationery designer Jen Wick. After the ceremony, guests enjoyed custom cocktails and hors d’oeurves by the pool before entering the candlelit reception inside the hotel’s Sea Salt restaurant. Forgoing the traditional wedding cake, the bride and groom served a donut bar which featured an array of donuts from local bakeries such as Dot’s, Brown’s, and Oves. After a sparkler send-off, the couple honeymooned in the Maldives and settled back into their home in Philadelphia.

The bride’s updo was accented with a crystal hairpin. An “I do” necklace was part of her rehearsal-dinner ensemble.
