The weather in Philly has been funny lately. One day, it’s 65 degrees and sunny, and the next one is blustery with a chance of actual snow! Yo-yoing temps mean that it’s critical to have a versatile place that keeps you warm in the winter and also cools you down during those hazy, hot and humid days.

This tucked away trinity home on a cul-de-sac-like stretch of Darien Street in Bella Vista does just that, thanks in large part to its wood burning fireplace (with lovely tile accents) and the central air conditioning.

What’s also nice is that, unlike recent Trinity Tuesday features, this puppy is as turn-key as it gets. The first floor has been updated with refinished hard wood floors, a new paint job and thermal pane windows and it culminates in a spacious open concept kitchen. Remember, a lot of kitchens inside trinity homes are actually in the basement, so its location is definitely of note.

Travel up the winding oak staircase to the second floor and you’ll find the second bedroom with bath. Take the steps one more flight to the third floors and you’ll be inside the spacious master bedroom, which features a skylight, parquet floors and deck access via French doors.

To top it all off, this quaint section of Bella Vista is actually smack dab in the middle of everything, including Palumbo Playground, South Street (Whole Foods!) and even the Italian Market.
