Tina Fey Doubles Up, Buys $9.51 Million Co-op Unit Above Current Pad

Will the superstar from Delco create a mega-duplex in NYC?

What’s left to say about Tina Fey? She’s from Upper Darby. She’s hilarious. And, yes, we love her.

With that out of the way, the one thing we can say on a real estate site is that Fey and her husband, composer Jeff Richmond, just made a major move inside their swanky co-op building at 300 West End Avenue in New York’s Upper West Side–paying $9.51 million for the four-bedroom unit above their current apartment.

According to the New York Observer, the new place is bananas, and could make for one gigantic combo-unit (+1 for the Mean Girls reference, NYO):

While the hefty price seems largely to be borne of a desire to create a mega-duplex, their new unit in the prewar co-op is hardly shabby, and includes two wood-burning fireplaces, 22 new windows, and a private elevator landing. We think even Regina George would be a fan of this. Very fetch, indeed.

NYO reports the home was originally listed for $7.5 million. Sheesh, and you thought Fishtown was competitive!
