The high-end market is booming these days, and man, do we love gettin’ a little fancy on Delancey Street.

We recently spotted a rarity in Society Hill: a double-wide property near Society Hill Towers that just hit the market for $2 million. The brick beauty is set back within the block, and offers a private gated entrance for access to quiet Delancey Street.

One of the first things you’ll notice from the gallery is that there is marble pretty much in every room, including the foyer, the exuberantly decorated dining room, the powder room off of the main hall and the master bath. You might have also gathered that the home flaunts a bunch of gas and wood burning fireplaces as well–so you’ll be cozy at all times this winter (if Jack Frost finally decides to wake up and start nipping at your nose, that is).

There are two rooms that really standout: the entertaining room and the large master suite. The entertaining room comes complete with said wood burning fireplace and a built-in wet bar. As for the master bedroom, it boasts dramatic cathedral-style ceilings, another fireplace, a walk-in closet and a decked-out en-suite bath. Yeah, the whole place is kind of late-80’s in terms of styling, but we’re actually digging it.

Also, don’t miss the lower level. It features another bedroom suite, a gym and a wine cellar, the latter would go great next to a crackling fire.
