Maybe it’s the fact that I watch back-to-back episodes of Game of Thrones online rather than as they air, but certain parts of this reclaimed barn structure in Bucks County give me the impression of being a modern-day manse straight out of the Seven Kingdoms. (It’s likely just those cool light fixtures in the living room though.)

Situated on 11.7 acres, the house offers 7,200 square feet and four bedrooms. Temperature-wise, there’s geothermal heating and cooling to keep it in check (not to mention the low energy costs). But its mouthwatering look? That was born out of the marriage between its rustic features of days past and more recently appointed contemporary details. All in all, a unique property with rooms we can’t stop revisiting (photos below).

Inside, flooring consists of hardwood and concrete, with access to the upper levels available in the form of a stainless steel staircase and silo elevator. Walls are made of hand rubbed plaster, while the lovely kitchen has high-end appliances, contemporary cabinetry, and a six-burner gas range. Upstairs, a catwalk with bookcase and wall of windows leads to the master suite, where there’s access to a balcony with a fire ring.

A projection TV system can be found on the third-floor media room, while the fourth main floor bedroom can be used as guest quarters as it’s located in a separate wing. Outside, the property boasts “gorgeous professional landscaping,” heated pool, spa, and fire pit.
