We don’t often travel to Delaware to feature a home, but the ones we do highlight are some of the most interesting in the region. Look no further than this custom-designed farmhouse right next to the low-profile-but-super-exclusive Bidermann golf course in Wilmington. Designed by John Milner, a Chadds Ford-based architect with some serious chops, the 4,700 square-foot home is nestled on private tract of land that actually overlooks nearby Winterthur.

Inside the home, it’s hard not to love the expansive kitchen, which has lovely painted cabinets (plenty of storage), a large island and even a wood burning fireplace. In fact, there are mutliple fireplaces throughout the home, including the living room and parlor.  The master suite is choice, especially with his and hers full baths and a walk-in closet.
