Forgetting the actual house for a moment—don’t worry, we’ll get to it—let’s take a look at its two yards, which total to 8,000 square feet. On top of being completely fenced, the rear of the two comes with a slate patio, wooden deck, and room for playing, gardening, and composting. To boot, it has detached garage, which the current owners have converted into a studio office with heating, air-conditioning, wood floors, full bathroom, and skylight. It’s a pretty cozy set up, which you should definitely take a look (gallery below).

In any case, onto the main house…
Built circa 1925, the stone colonial has seen extensive upgrades throughout, starting with its refinished wood flooring and newer granite kitchen counters. (The latter also comes with stainless steel appliances, a tumbled stone back splash, and slate flooring.) Recessed lighting and parquet floors can be found in the dining room, while built-ins and a stone fireplace are in the living room. Its entrance though is our favorite spot, especially now that it looks like the weather will be taking a more consistent turn for the warmer: a heated sun porch with bamboo flooring, which makes for an additional 300 square feet of living space.
