Farmhouse Friday: “Happy Farm,” the Musician Friendly Lancaster Getaway

If Taylor Swift decides to go the all acoustic route for her next album, we found just the place for her: Creek Place Farm (also known as Happy Farm) a creekside Lancaster County property that realtor Ian Bunch tells us would make an ideal setting for recording artists. For one thing, the site is comprised of nine lush acres (you need to see this video of the site to take it all in) that include a fully restored Pennsylvania Dutch farmhouse and three completely refurbished barns, one of which is a former tobacco barn converted into a commercial fitness facility that was then turned into the owner’s personal fitness center. Translation: Enough space for several band members/collaborating musicians to stay/practice.
