Holy mackerel, a Frank Weise home is for sale!

Admittedly, I’ve only been familiar with Mr. Weise’s work for 90 minutes. Modern Homes Philadelphia, a website that acts as a resource for those interested in modern architectural living in the area, has a whole slew of images and information on the architect’s jaw-dropping buildings.

It is, therefore, a lucky break for whoever hears about this house in Washington Square West and puts their money on it first. The home, which was built circa 1960, but has been updated within the last couple of years, has recently had its wood floors refinished, while a renovation to the patio-accessible kitchen has left it with Zodiac counter tops, GE Cafe Series appliances, as well as a lovely glass tile backsplash.

Potential buyers will have fun with the third level, which, at this time, consists of a crisp open floor plan used as an office. There are slider doors leading out to a deck here too.
