William P.M. Braun, a businessman heralded for helping elevate Philadelphia’s commercial and industrial clout in the late 19th and early 20th century, once lived in this beautiful home situated in the historic Pelham District of West Mt. Airy.

Inside Braun’s former manse, century-old craftsmanship remains. The grand staircase and  original woodwork in oak, mahogany, and cherry woods are evidence of this, as are the original stained glass windows alongside a window seat landing. Pocket doors in the formal living and dining rooms are made of oak and glass, while floors are pure hardwood.

Other features include a wrap-around porch, hardwood floors, built-in cabinets, potential gardener’s room, bathrooms with caw-foot tubs and original subway tile.
