Guess What? DesignPhiladelphia Is Here

If we haven’t been clear enough, let me repeat: Design. Philadelphia. Starts. TOMORROW! (But the kickoff party is tonight, so technically, it’s here. Did you buy your tickets yet?)

Here is what’s happening: 120 design events–everything from talks, exhibits, parties, and other fun activities–will take place throughout the city between October 8 and 17.

The festival starts tonight with a launch party called PopUp Place, an event that includes an auction and a tour of host Blue Cadet’s headquarters. Tickets can be bought here. (Side note: DesignPhiladelphia events are either free, not free, or free, but require registration for space reasons. Check out the full schedule for details.)

Ticket listed their top picks for DesignPhilly, which you should check out, but there’s one happening on there we think you should definitely put on your calendar: us! Yes, Property will have its own event called Property Presents: Tales from the Design World.

Our own Liz Spikol will be play host to the “storytelling hootenanny” that will include stories from developers, designers, people who write fiction about architects, etc. Details for this FREE shin-dig below:
