Price Cut: Sonrisa Estate with Retro Diner Goes Down to Less Than $6.4M

Well this should make someone smile.

Last year Sonrisa made my jaw drop with its 1950s diner. Its price, then $10 million, might have curbed my enthusiasm, but what else could I expect from a property with a retro diner and 12-person movie theater?

Since then, “Smile” (the translation for Sonrisa) has received three price cuts: once in September, again in February, and once again on Monday, bringing it down to $6.39 million. That’s still out of my range, but any potential buyer who can afford it should greatly appreciate the a-little-over-$3 million cut.

Some reminders: It has six fireplaces, oak and limestone floors, vaulted ceilings, an elevator, a gym, and built-in cabinetry. Outside, the grounds include terraces, a koi pond, fountains, and 5-car garage parking.
