Philadelphia Ranked Fourth Most Walkable City in the U.S.

So what happened, Chicago? Last year’s fourth most pedestrian-friendly city dropped two spots in Walk Score’s latest “Most Walkable Cities in the United States” rankings — but hey, we’re not complaining. Philadelphia took Chicago’s fourth-place spot after gaining three walking points.

Center City East was ranked as Philadelphia’s number one most walkable neighborhood.

Shenanigans: New York is walkable but any time you look up you crash into the back of someone’s head. San Fran is like if every street was the Manayunk wall, and Boston streets wind around in every direction so crossing the street is usually terrifying. Philly = most walkable. Thank you grid layout.
