“Wow!” is all we can saw about the 3 acre estate at 5 Briarwood Court. It’s more like a resort and spa than a residence. But while you won’t find room service or valet parking, you will find a remote-controlled bidet with heated seating (oh, yes), a programmable shower with “steam mist” and body sprays, a jetted bathtub, towel warmers, and other bathroom pluses.
There’s also a detached spa house with swimming pool — whose roof is shaped like an inverted canoe (or a miniature Rafael Viñoly concert hall) — that’s lined with four-panel 6-foot-high windows and fitted out with a de-humidificaton system (no overstressing over icky mildew).
Assuming the pool is used regularly, leather floors in the master bedroom seem quite practical, given their reputation for being water-resistant. Also in the master suite: For those who want to gaze directly into a starry night from their bed, an accurately aligned mattress gets a direct view thanks to a well-placed skylight. There are fireplaces, a gourmet kitchen and a two-floor library with built-in bookshelves as well.
