Splendiferous Interiors: Entirely Purple Dive Bar for Sale

The blue-on-the-outside, purple-on-the-inside (like a gobstopper) Ingram Lounge is for sale in East Mt. Airy, and it’s being marketed as an investment opportunity with a “well-established clientele.” The bar is “ready for a new owner operator looking to start their own brand or expand an existing concept.”

May we issue a request to the new owner of this bar? PLEASE DO NOT ALTER THE INTERIOR PAINT OR TAKE DOWN THE STREAMERS.

For those who need to know more than streamer information (looking at you, Brendan and Leigh–how about Mt. Airy?), the corner bar has “2 cold sinks, 2 pour spouts, a small kitchen, table seating and 3 big screen TVs.” And a liquor license is included.

The listing counsels, “Please do not Speak with employees or patrons about sale.”

I pray every night (especially Friday) that this place will be shut down! Please just turn in to something that has less screaming drunks outside until 2am.

all i ever read is how well g salas is doing and each writer, like sheil, says right afterwards how he’ll have trouble sticking. definitely one of the guys i’m watching for tomorrow. figure the 53 will hold 6 wrs, dress 5 gameday. seems like he’s right in mix for 5/6 slot.

    • jtre

I agree. looks like the top 4 spots are lockers up (Jackson, Avant, Johnson, and Cooper) Salas, Sheppard, and Momah are fighting for those last 2 with the loser going to the PS.

      • Johnny Domino

        Is Salas PS eligible?

      • Dilwala_G

From the coverage, seems like Momah is the odd-man out. PS might make sense for him too (assuming he doesn’t get snatched by another team) since he’s been away from football for 2 years – time to get sharp and develop without spotlight

I think they only keep 5 WR. I think they go heavy at TE, and RB. 4 of each. If you want to keep 9 OL, you can’t hang on to WR’s like that. It isn’t like the talent pool is super deep. This is what I think the 53 man roster looks like on Offense:

      QB: Foles, Vick, Barkley
      RB: McCoy, Polk, Brown, Tucker
      TE: Celek, Casey, Ertz, Harbor
WR: Jackson, Cooper, D. Johnson, Avant, Shepard
OL: Peters, Mathis, Kelce, Herremans, Johnson, Barbre, Tennant, Watkins, Kelly

Only way they keep 6 WR is if they drop to 3 RB’s and put Tucker on the PS. If they do that, Salas sticks.

      • Token

I dont think they keep 4 RBs on the 53. Its not like Jones or Tucker are special. If one of the 3 RBs gets injured you just brings Tucker back off the street or PS.

I could see 6 WRs. I think theyd like to keep Salas and Shepard. Momah is a practice squad guy.

Waiting until game time tomorrow is going to kill me.

The preseason games will obviously dictate whats happening at QB but do you remember seattle last year? Russell Wilson beat our Matt Flynn by the first game.

Foles has none of that hype surrounding him and he kind of needs it to beat out the experienced veteran who is the defacto leader of the team and more athletic.
Switching series will only stagnate the offense and make it tougher to separate from each other.

Our QB of the future is not here unless Barkley makes a jump next year or whenever Vick is no longer on the roster and the QB competition opens up again.
Calling this a competition at this point is a sham and now a waste of reps for the 1s.

    • BDAWKS

while yes, it seems that neither qb is separating from the other ,however by most account both are playing well. both having there ups and downs but to be expected this early in a new system. what i like that I’m hearing is
Foles is throwing a much better deep ball and haven’t heard of any Vick picks (is that right?)

How has Lane Johnson looked? Things seem to be very quiet regarding how he has looked so far. I’m still bitter at Miami for jumping ahead of us and landing Dion Jordan, so I’m really hoping it works out for the best for us and I’m pulling for Johnson to be an impact tackle in Philly for year to come.. Given his overall lack of experience playing tackle, I don’t expect him to make a major impact immediately. However, I’d love to hear so positive chatter but I really haven’t. How’s he looking??

Josh Johnson is perfect for Chip……HELLO!

    • BDAWKS

uhm 27 games played 5 starts 5 td’s 10 picks 9 fumbles yeah just what we need

  • Dilwala_G

Sheil – who do you think wins last roster spot for offense (assuming 25 for O, 25 for D, 3 ST) – a fourth RB, fourth TE, fourth QB, or sixth WR?

    • BDAWKS

well I am a far cry from Sheil but , with this batch of receivers and Chippa’s love of the TE I could see 4 TE’s. how about this formation Ertz in the slot Casey in the backfield as a Fb and Cellek and Clay as your TE call it the heavy

      • Dilwala_G

Interesting. I was thinking that Shephard/Salas were a better last roster spot (as 6th WR) than Jones/Tucker at RB or Carrier/Harbor at TE. Maybe that’s warped a bit though by the fact that all the practice coverage is of passing drills?

  • Damien

Tobin>Barbre any day of the week.

    • Richaud Jeaffreson

Not really. Tobin is raw, and more of a project, plus he is strictly a tackle. Barbre can play G and T, and apparently has been turning heads in camp. It is important to have guys that can play multiple positions on the line. Think of where we would have been the last couple years if Herremans couldn’t slide out and play RT.

  • Brent E. Sulecki

I like what Salas brings. and even more so when G Cobb calls training camp action and says Salad with the nice catch on the sideline. need more of that. and Bruce Brown

  • Richaud Jeaffreson

Tennant has apparently been practicing very well. It is a choice between him, and Reynolds. Tennant has an advantage because he can play both center AND guard. It is better to have versatile backups because anything can happen. Kelce is not even a year removed from a very serious knee injury, Todd has been injured the last two seasons, and Watkins has been inconsistent at best.

Tucker has pretty much been neck and neck with F. Jones for the 3rd RB spot. I would take the younger player. It is a cheaper option, and he has more upside. Jones has a tendency to get injured, and if they plan on doing a fair bit of running, they need durable backs.

    • Richard Colton

4th RB you mean? otherwise, good stuff

      • Richaud Jeaffreson

        yeah 4th.
