Volare, Indeed: Bobby Rydell’s Penn Valley Home Gets a Speedy Review From Redfin

Philly teen heartthrob Bobby Rydell’s Penn Valley house is for sale. It went on the market a little more than a month ago (on the same day one of Bruce Toll’s area homes went on sale) and was described as “an entertainer’s dream,” though Rydell’s name wasn’t mentioned. Redfin’s local agent Blakely Minton quickly took a tour of the property–something the website’s agents do to personalize their listings–and had this to say about it:

House is up on the hill with a small, flat backyard area. The home is dated and needs some cosmetic upgrades, but has nice space. The finished basement is a Philly sports lover’s dream with lots of space for fun.

In the listing, that basement is described as a “rec room and music room.” Hey, got a little all-American teen idol in your soul? Or, perhaps more accurately given the decor, a Philly sports fan?

N.B. We love the treble clef on the house’s exterior. Please, new owner, keep that there.
